Event Overview:

This workshop equips professionals with the tools and knowledge to increase their ability to meaningfully support clients navigating high-conflict separations, divorce, and post-separation challenges. Workshop participants will gain a deeper understanding of the multifaceted challenges clients face, including the complexities of arduous processes like navigating litigation and bureaucratic systems, transitioning from parenting to co-parenting arrangements, and the emotional toll of overwhelm, exhaustion, and isolation.

This workshop helps participants recognize signs, identify patterns, gain effective strategies to navigate challenges, access useful resources, and respond appropriately to help reduce harm, increase safety, and provide effective support.

Key focus areas include:

- Strategies to effectively address high-conflict disputes
- Recognizing and responding to gender-based violence, hidden abuse, financial abuse, and post-separation abuse
- Enhancing client safety and wellbeing
- Practical tools to support clients

This workshop integrates evidence-based practices, professional expertise and lived experience to provide meaningful support to clients through these complex transitions.


About The Presenter:

Chavisa Horemans is a trauma-informed consultant and coach with a Master's in social sciences. Specializing in Gender-Based Violence, Hidden Abuse, and Post- Separation Abuse, she is a Certified Divorce Coach (CDC, ICF) and Trauma Recovery Practitioner (CTRC), delivering evidence-based, holistic workshops and coaching tailored to diverse professionals.
